ABOUT JOHN BIGGINS
John Biggins was born in Dallas, Texas and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.9 GPA from South Grand Prairie High School in 1990. 

In addition to being a member of the National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, John was a Captain of the football team and was named SGP Offensive MVP & an All-District wide receiver after leading District 11-5A in receptions and receiving yards his senior year. 

 John was also voted a Class Favorite (Most Athletic) by the 525 students in his senior class.

John attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas on a football scholarship and graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. 

John was a three year letterman on the SMU football team where he excelled at wide receiver and on the special teams units. 
 John was awarded a game ball in 1993 by SMU Head Coach, Tom Rossley, for outstanding special teams play in a 21-15 victory over rival TCU. 
 
John also received numerous academic and athletic honors including the SMU Mike Kelsey Award in 1993 for displaying exemplary attitude, hustle, and desire. 

In 1994, John was named a member of the Southwest Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll and SMU 3.0 Club for having a 3.0 grade point average. 

As a senior in 1994, John received the SMU Lester Jordan Award for being the SMU football player who is both outstanding on the field and has the highest grade point average. 

John was also a three year recipient of the SMU Beefmaster Award for being the strongest player on the football team.

After college, John attended the prestigious Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. At Howard, John concentrated his studies on becoming a sports agent and attorney and his coursework included Contract Law, Sports & Entertainment Law, Labor & Employment Law, Negotiations, and Arbitrations. 

Furthermore, John was a member of the Entertainment Law and Sports Association. John received his Juris Doctor degree in May of 1998 and was licensed to practice law by the Texas Supreme Court in 1999.

After graduation from Howard, John was employed by the law firm of Ihfe & Associates, P.C. in San Antonio, Texas where his sports law experience included the representation of a pro baseball player at a contested grievance arbitration hearing pursuant to the Major League Baseball Collective Bargaining Agreement. 

In 2009, John became certified as a Contract Advisor by the NFL Players Association. 

In 2011, John became certified as a Player Agent by the MLB Players Association. 

John has undergone extensive training pertaining to the arbitration process in professional sports.

John has two daughters Abigail & Ava and has obtained a black belt in karate.
